Hey everyone!Due to a request, we'll try to frequently update this blog with the recent hw. June Holiday Homework: 1. Bio ---website Questions & Answers --- Moodle part 1 & part 2 just saw..... English- Project based on given topic - Reading assignment & assignment ws on moodle 5. Geog- People who went for the japan trip: Geog Project Others: Geog Scrapbook 6. Elit- Read chapters 7-12 for a coming test - Either the individual/ group assignment Individual Assignments 1. Design a crossword puzzle comprising at least 20 items across and 20 items down. Your items should be factual and inferential in nature ; they should not all be factual. You will be assessed on how challenging and creative your clues are. 2. Draw a series of comic strips, consisting of a minimum of 12 frames, which show what happens during a major even in the novel. You may refer to any scene in the entire novel which you feel is important to the story. 3. Imagine that you are the Editor of the Waknuk Tribune, the only newspaper available in the community. Create one issue of this newspaper(minimum 4 pages), presenting articles covering different aspects of life in the Waknuk community. Use your ingenuity and creativity to make your issue as realistic as possible. 4. If you were to make a movie of ‘The Chrysalids’, whom would you cast in the various roles for the characters in the novel? Which events/ scenes would you include in the movie? Where would you go to film the movie? Which director would you hire to shoot the movie? Explain the reasons for your choices. 5. Imagine that you are David or Petra Blanca. Write two separate diary entries based on your experiences. You may refer to any events in the novel. GROUP ASSIGNMENTS 6. Design a board game which makes use of the characters and their behaviour, the events and the themes of the novel. 7. Present a short skit/performance. You may re-write a scene and perform this scene, act out a scene, or re-write a scene using a modern setting and perform it. You may present this in a video format. 8. Imagine that there is a High Council in Waknuk, and Petra’s telepathic powers have been exposed. Decide who the members of this High Council might be; give them titles and names. Discuss what would be said at such a meeting. Do a presentation in which the group members conduct a meeting to decide her fate. YOU MAY ONLY CHOOSE ONE TO DO.         Sang xiaowei, yue liang dai biao wo de xin, lao shu ai da mi, qing tian, dui bian de nv hai kan guo lai, etcetc. :) Old folks' didn't really look very excited while we were singing, didn't join in th claps and stuff either. But after asking a few, most of them said they enjoyed it. (Y) Good job 3J. We rocked ass. :D

Blogging as requested by class chairperson PinYi.So. 3J had class outing after oral! :) Generally, everyone screwed up oral. Haha! Splitted into 2 groups for lunch. Hannah, Lisa, RuXin, PeiXuan, Tania, Lianne and Emily at Yoshinoya; Shannon, Joscelin, JunSheng, Jeremy, WeiTai and ZhiTao at Subway; Hilary& Pamela went home. Mostly went home after lunch except for Tania, Lianne, PeiXuan, Hannah, Emily,PinYi, WeiTai, Jeremy, and JunSheng, who gathered at open plaza to play the turning thingy and slack at kids room HAHA.   There're some videos of them playing th turning thing. Recorded it using my hp thus th videos quality not very good. Haha. WeiTai and Jeremy, Th PROS: Lianne& Tania, WARNING!!!!! There'd be ultra high-pitched screams from JunSheng so plz lower your speakers in case your windows break.
